Operation BBQ Relief to Provide Meals to Houston Firefighters

Operation BBQ Relief to Provide Meals to the Houston Fire Department

When firefighters hang up their boots on the last day of MDA’s Fill the Boot Campaign (5/25) they will be treated to a delicious bbq dinner. HFD has worked hard raising money to support families dealing with muscular dystrophy. When Fill the Boot wraps up for the day a BBQ lunch/dinner will be provided by Operation BBQ Relief. This is an organization that helped the City of Houston and Fire Department with BBQ meals after Hurricane Harvey. The group is stepping up once again to support first responders.

“A huge thank you to Operation BBQ Relief for supporting Houston Firefighters. Our men and women work tirelessly for the citizens of Houston. This lunch will definitely be a treat,” said Fire Chief Sam Peña.
