HPD Chief Acevedo to Welcome New Cadet Class to Police Academy

At 8 a.m. on Monday (July 17), Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo will welcome dozens of police recruits to their first day of training in the department’s 233rd Police Academy Cadet Class.

The class will gather in room #434 at the Houston Police Academy L.D. Morrison, Sr. Memorial Center at 17000 Aldine-Westfield Road.

The cadets will undergo 26 weeks of rigorous training prior to graduation.
