MEDIA ALERT: HPD Chief Acevedo to Welcome New Cadet Class to Academy
At 8 a.m. TOMORROW (Tuesday, January 22), Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo will welcome the department’s newest recruits to their first day of training as part of HPD’s 240th Police Academy Cadet Class.

The class will gather in room 438 at the Academic Building at the Houston Police Academy L.D. Morrison, Sr. Memorial Center at 17000 Aldine-Westfield Road.

The cadets will undergo 26 weeks of rigorous training prior to graduation.
