The victim, driving a silver Jeep Cherokee, and the driver of a black BMV of unknown model were traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on the Northwest Freeway. The victim tried to avoid striking a disabled tractor-trailer truck on the left shoulder of the freeway by changing lanes, but was blocked by the BMW. The Jeep swerved to the right and struck the rear of the trailer. The Jeep then spun around and was struck by a silver Chevrolet Equinox traveling eastbound on the freeway. The victim was ejected and died at the scene. No one else was seriously injured.
